Inside KELOSCAR BIOGEL: the role of TurmeromeCell™

Discover how TurmeromeCell™ complements KELOSCAR BIOGEL to bring together scar remodelling support and soothing comfort in one formulation.

Silicone gel is widely recognised for its role in scar management. By forming a thin, protective film over the skin, it helps maintain hydration and supports the natural scar remodelling process.

KELOSCAR BIOGEL combines this established silicone technology with TurmeromeCell™, an innovative ingredient that provides additional antioxidant and skin-conditioning support.

This combination is at the heart of the Dual Action concept behind KELOSCAR BIOGEL.

What is TurmeromeCell™?

TurmeromeCell™ combines two carefully selected components: a liposomal cellular extract of Curcuma longa rhizome and vitamin E, recognised for their antioxidant and skin-conditioning properties.

Its liposomal technology helps incorporate these components into the formulation, providing complementary support for skin comfort.

How does it work alongside silicone gel?

The two components have different but complementary roles.

Medical-grade silicone: hydration & protection

Silicone forms a thin, flexible protective film over the scar. This helps reduce moisture loss, maintain skin hydration and protect the scar from everyday friction, supporting the natural scar remodelling process.

TurmeromeCell™: antioxidant support & skin comfort

TurmeromeCell™ complements the protective action of silicone with antioxidant and skin-conditioning properties that help soothe the skin and promote comfort throughout the scar management period.

Dual Action: scar remodelling support & soothing comfort

By combining medical-grade silicone with TurmeromeCell™, KELOSCAR BIOGEL brings together two complementary functions in one formulation.

This Dual Action approach provides:

These benefits reflect the combined formulation, with silicone providing the primary physical action and TurmeromeCell™ contributing complementary antioxidant and skin-conditioning support.

A simple addition to your daily routine

KELOSCAR BIOGEL is designed for twice-daily application on fully closed, intact skin.

Its transparent, odourless formulation dries to form a thin, discreet film, making it easy to incorporate into your daily routine.

Consistent application is recommended for a minimum period of 60–90 days. If you continue to notice improvement after 90 days, ongoing use is recommended.
